I am running a game right now where the party is trying to escape from a stronghold that is beset by angry villagers. When PCs die they are replaced by rioters who join the party to loot the stronghold. These new PCs are as follows:
Stats
Ability Scores: who cares?
HP: 1d6
Alignment: The salt of the earth has no time to ponder the big questions
Saving Throws: As 0-Level NPC.
Equipment (roll 1d6):
1-2 Lit torch
3-4 Burned out torch
5 Papers lodging an official grievance against the lord
6 Looting sack
Angry Villager Weapon Table (roll 1d20)
- 30' grappling hook
- Axe
- Auger
- Big Stick
- Bucket on a 10' rope
- Club
- Fence post
- Hammer
- Hoe
- Horseshoes 2d6
- Knife
- Lasso
- Meat hook
- Oar
- Pitchfork
- Sheperd's crook
- Scythe
- Sickle
- Sling with 2d4 rocks
- Yoke for cattle
What Happens to Villagers that survive the Adventure?
Villagers that survive the looting the stronghold roll ability scores and may choose a class. After choosing a class they can keep their hp total or re roll hp using the die appropriate for their new class. They then become regular PCs.
